Lifespan Inclusion
Families consistently identify transitions—diagnosis, school entry, and adulthood—as the most challenging points in their journey. Holly Ridge Center’s Lifespan Inclusion Department bridges these gaps by providing continuous support between, beyond, and alongside traditional age-limited services.
This work includes:
- Kitsap County Parent Coalition, which helps families navigate complex systems such as developmental disability services and public benefits
- Kitsap Parent to Parent, which offers peer mentorship and emotional support
Together, Kitsap County Parent Coalition and Kitsap Parent to Parent create a full circle of support ensuring families have both practical guidance and trusted relationships.
The Autism Resources Navigator further strengthens this work by helping families access timely diagnosis, services, and regional resources while contributing to broader systems change.
This work aligns directly with Holly Ridge Center’s strategic vision to expand age-limited services, strengthen family engagement, and cultivate advocacy and community leadership among parents and caregivers.
