Inclement Weather

With the weather getting colder it’s good to review our inclement weather policy. Please note that for therapy services, families will want to check with the center to determine if their session has been canceled. Holly Ridge Center is registered with FlashAlert Newswire & Messenger to notify our staff and families of any delays or closings due to weather and emergencies. Additional Note

Holly Ridge Center Community: Here is an update to our programs and how we are providing services to our community. Stay safe, stay healthy, and stay tuned.

Infant Toddler Program:  Holly Ridge Center continues to have the health and safety of the children and families we serve as well as our staff in the forefront of our decision making.  Currently many families are participating in services via teleintervention using Zoom and its additional security features.  Educators, therapists and Family Resources Coordinators are staying connected to families via teleintervention, phone, email and texts.  If you haven’t tried teleintervention services yet, via the Zoom platform, please consider participating, our providers are finding fun and creative ways to make these appointments special and productive.

We want families to know that this decision was not made lightly – Holly Ridge has decided that in-person playgroups and group sessions will continue to be paused until September.  If you have specific questions, please contact your provider.

Adult Employment Services: Adult Employment Services program is supporting their individuals based on their current employment status, goals and service needs.

For those needing support as they perform their essential personnel functions in public, we are practicing social distancing & stay healthy guidelines and for those Self-isolating we are reaching out in various virtual forms.
