In 2021, Holly Ridge staff distributed over $40,000 in diapers, baby equipment, and other necessary items to families in Kitsap and North Mason counties. This was accomplished in partnership with Eastside Baby Corner (EBC), a local nonprofit that provides children, ages birth through 12, with shoes, diapers, formula, and much more.

Eastside Baby Corner seeks to make a well-rounded, better community through this outreach, helping children reach their full potential tomorrow by meeting their basic needs today. When our services shifted to a virtual basis during the pandemic, Holly Ridge staff also began delivering these items directly to the recipient families across the area.

Holly Ridge Family Resource Coordinator Meagan shared that Holly Ridge serves between 35 and 50 families weekly. She adds, “Our partnership with EBC would not be successful without our staff and their willingness to share the responsibility of picking up, sorting, and delivering these items to our families all over Kitsap and North Mason counties.”

Partnerships are essential to quality service delivery for the families served by Holly Ridge Center. We are grateful to work with a charitable nonprofit like Eastside Baby Corner to better the lives of those in our community.
